Whilst a dedicated in-house team handles all aspects of operations, (including acquisitions, refurbishment, maintenance, surveying, lettings, rent reviews and management), the group also recognises the valuable contribution that can be made to the success of the business by external consultants and experts.

Structadene has excellent relations with many property agents and firms of surveyors. Effective introductions are always recognised and agents are retained for commercial lettings where appropriate.

The group has built strong links with more than 25 lenders including many of the major high street banks and building societies. With a preference for conservative levels of gearing with medium-term amortisation and fixed interest rates, the group's relationship with its lenders is crucial to its success.

To increase speed and efficiency in all property transactions, Structadene employs an in-house lawyer. However, the group also works with a panel of external solicitors, mainly small to medium sized firms where personal relationships are important.

Auditing, tax advice, corporate structuring and company secretarial work are carried out by accountants Hacker Young.

Although finance is usually arranged in-house, Structadene utilises brokers from time to time when special sources of funding are required.

Joint Venture Partners
A number of Structadene's properties are held jointly with other parties, including private and public property companies, banks and private investors. Structadene is always keen to enter into joint ventures either for investment or development. Partners may be active or passive.
